TC overhung monostage process pumps are OH2 pumps, in accordance with the API610 standard, and our most versatile pumps, used for heavy duty service in refineries and petrochemical plants. These pumps combine sound design and simple construction for high reliability when operating at high temperatures and pressures. Features include a radially split case, double volute, impeller with front and back wear rings for axial balance, and centerline mounting. They are easily maintained and can be dismantled without disturbing piping.
DVSHF/THF are BB2 pumps, in accordance with the API610 standard, and are centerline mounted, horizontal, respectively one and two-stage, staggered single or double volute, vertically split, with impeller between bearings. These pumps are designed for continuous duty and are particularly well adapted to oil refinery and other industrial services, pumping fluids under a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Stuffing boxes are designed for API 682 mechanical seals. The THF family includes a double suction first stage option called DSTHF, for low NPSH.
Designed for continuous process duty, VP overhung vertical process pumps (OH3/4 in accordance with the API 610 standard) combine sound design with simple construction for light service. They can be dismantled without disturbing piping. Features include a radially split case, double volute, and flanges 180° apart. A close-coupled version is also available.
VCD series pumps are vertical single or multistage, diffuser type, designed for medium capacities and heads in accordance with VS6 canned or VS1 sump API 610 arrangements. They are used in refinery, petrochemical and power generation applications to satisfy low NPSH requirements. The design includes diffuser type inner cases, closed type axially balanced impellers, and stuffing boxes designed to fit with API 682 mechanical seals. Our VCD pumps are simply constructed for easy maintenance and safe operation, providing high efficiency at low to medium flows. VCD pumps can have a double suction first stage – this model is called DSVCD.
VDA pumps are canned type, mixed flow, double suction first stage impeller, single or multistage pumps designed for medium to high capacities. Dedicated to cooling water circulation, pipeline boosting, desalination, and firefighting, these pumps offer high efficiencies due to their oversized discharge channel. Small sizes are dedicated to condensate extraction service where the double suction first stage impeller drastically reduces the pump length allowing for greater rotating speeds. Designs can feature a bare or protected shaft, thrust bearing fitted in the pump, and double volute first stage.
VSA models are mixed flow impeller type pumps designed for high flow capacities and for open pit installations. They are typically used in water and seawater circulating systems for cooling. Design options include open or closed impellers, single or multistage, bare or protected shaft. The thrust bearing is fitted within the pump, and the discharge flange can be underground or above ground.
