GE Triveni Ltd. (GETL) is a 50/50 Joint Venture between GE Oil & Gas and Triveni Turbine. We offer a large portfolio of steam turbines for power generation applications — with unit sizes ranging from 30 to 100 MW, and designs that provide significant value in terms of efficiency, cost delivery and reliability.
The turbines use advanced GE impulse and reaction technology for top efficiency over a broad range of operating conditions. Modules provide the flexibility to optimize the steam path for customer-specific steam cycle needs. Features include automatic extraction for sugar or paper applications and injection for combined heat and power applications, multiple control valves for maximum efficiency over wide operating range, and high pressure control oil system for rapid response to load changes including island operation. To suit specific project needs, units can have partial or full-arc admission, and radial or axial exhaust configuration.
With designs that adhere to IEC and applicable international standards, GETL steam turbines can be used for power generation across the industrial power generation industry, with niche applications that include coal fired, combined cycle, cogeneration, sugar, steel, cement, biomass and waste to energy. These turbines are designed from structured modules, specifically to meet the need for short delivery times and lower life cycle costs.
The turbines are manufactured in a state-of-the-art, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India. The site has a dedicated high-speed balancing and mechanical run test facility. Full factory packaged designs considerably reduce site installation times. Our global pool of field service engineers provides support for installation, start-up, commissioning, on-site inspections, overhauls, emergency repairs and uprates.
