2007 Multi-Customer Spring Sessions


Spring sessions of multicustomer courses

Great success for the "multi-customer training" customized for our GE Oil & Gas clients. The spring session of the course has been held at the Florence Learning Center with a high participation of many working employers who work for more than 20 different clients located in every part of the world.

Five sessions of the course have been developed for a period of 30 days and have been held in classroom, at our workshop and RM&D.

About 50 participants attended the course (last year at the same session the participants were 25!) and took the opportunity to enjoy our facilities and technical experience of our professional experts. This is a great goal and based on this we have already received the request of many other people who want to take the course that will be held in the autumn session.

New multicustomer courses in Kuala Lumpur

We have launched the first "site multi-customer training" session in Kuala Lumpur. This is the 1st GE Oil & Gas training initiative in the region, which will help the business to grow long-term relationship strategies with customers.

We have run two courses, one on Steam Turbines Operation and Maintenance and one on Heavy Duty Gas Turbines Operation and Maintenance - a total of 10 training days. Thanks to the joint collaboration of the Florence and KL teams we have collected more than 30 people from 7 different companies in the region.

The technical experience and know-how of the instructors together with the excellent local organization resulted in a very satisfactory feedback from the participants.

As customers realize the value of training activity to enhance the specific technical competencies of their personnel, we consider this as a good starting point for several local training activities to come in the future on an annual basis, taking into consideration GE O&G portfolio of products (i.e. compressors).
