A Tension Leg Platform (TLP) is a vertically moored floating structure suited for use in a broad water depth range.

Spar

Spars are deep draft floating structures presently used in water depths up to 6,000 feet.

Other Floating Systems

There is a broad spectrum of floating systems in other hull forms. Riser systems for these typically include a blend between TLP and Spar systems.
