Aerodynamic Blading Designs

Advanced aerodynamic blading designs lead to improved flow distribution, which can improve efficiency and increase output. These designs are achieved through the use of advanced vortex compound lean buckets and nozzles validated through computational fluid dynamics modeling.

Solid Particle Erosion Resistance

Nozzle partitions are designed to reduce the number of particle impacts on the trailing edge pressure surface to provide greater erosion resistance, which in turn improves the reliability and availability of power plant equipment. Especially in geothermal applications, special materials for blades, rotors and blade carriers offer resistance to steam conditions with a high percentage (up to 15%) of incondensable gas.
