Horizontal Between Bearings Centrifugal Pumps

Horizontal Between Bearings Centrifugal Pumps

For Many Applications

Horizontal between bearings pumps are used for various applications including boosting, transfer, circulation and feeding. They are characterized by a stiff rotor designed for heavy fluids and double suction first stage impellers for the best performance at low suction pressures.

Vertically Split

This group includes the DVSHF and DSTHF centrifugal pumps. Both have vertically split cases and top-to-top flange orientation, and are designed for continuous duty, particularly for refinery service with hot fluids.

  • The DVSHF has a single stage, double suction impeller and a centerline mounted case. The pump feet are designed to maintain alignment at elevate temperatures.
  • The DSTHF is a two stage, first impeller. It can be single or double suction to suit low NPSH conditions.

These pumps have a centerline mounted case. The case has an integral crossover to convey liquid from the first stage to the second, and a double volute to minimize shaft deflection and wear.

Horizontally Split

This group of centrifugal pumps includes the DVS and DVE models. Both have an axially split case and a single stage, double suction impeller. They have a side-to-side flange orientation and are designed for continuous duty. The DVS model is adapted to oil pipelines, and the DVE model is adapted to water and hydrocarbon transfer or general light duty applications.
